Tonkin Zulaikha Greer have been acknowledged as one of Australia’s most innovative and acclaimed architectural practices since their inception in 1987. 

Their work ranges across the entire spectrum of architecture in a large city context. From iconic (and occasionally controversial) public buildings to the detailed restoration and adaptive re-use of historic structures. And from pragmatic community-minded inner-city housing to expressive and unusual private houses. 

Tonkin Zulaikha Greer are particularly notable for their collaborations with other visual artists. This confluence of architecture and art has produced many memorable precincts and monuments, which have transcended formal architectural resolution, and provide a unique reflection of a culture at a certain time and place.
